Hamilton web designers Sudymo Design have created original websites for a wide range of clients, from sole-propriterships and small businesses to large organizations. This is a selection of our work.
In addition to our primary business of website design, development, maintenance, and hosting, Sudymo Design also provides project management services to several clients with their own website teams. Commercial Executives Organization of Oakville
The Commercial Executives Organization of Oakville website has been updated with an all-new look!
This time, the site was re-written from scratch. All-new features include a sortable members list, an Articles section with archive (regularly updated, which Google and other search engines love to see), and an all-new layout which is even more search-engine friendly than before.
The new CEO-Oakville website is our favourite work to date.
Another design project that was out-sourced to Sudymo Design, this time a local company which specializes in web-based inventory control systems wanted a new, modern look for the back-end system of their premiere client.
This was a challenging project, both because of the time constraint (the whole thing had to be done in a week) and because we had to work with the existing “flow” of the system. It was also a lot of fun: because we knew exactly what web browser the client used, we didn’t have to worry about browser compatibility issues.
The new look-and-feel was done on time, and the client is very satisfied with the new look.

Another local web firm outsourced the design of their client’s new website to Sudymo Design. We can’t tell you the name of the firm or their client, or link to their website, but we can show you an image of the final design of the website.
On the live website, the large floor samples on the left change as the user moves their mouse pointer over the small samples in the centre, while clicking on any of the sample pictures takes the user to the product information page. The project gallery pictures on the right rotate every five seconds.
The design for the Henshell Law Office website sat on the firm owner’s desktop for four years before Sudymo Design was called in to implement it. The design was still quite good, but needed a few tweaks to make it a little more modern. There were also several sections that were not included in the original design, which the owner required now because of changes in the firm’s business over the last four years. We created new headings for these sections to match the existing ones. Take a look for yourself and see if you can tell which ones were the originals and which ones are new!
Landecks Landscaping is a small landscaping business based in Burlington, Ontario with a dream: to become a big landscaping business.
Landecks contracted Sudymo Design to design, implement, host, and maintain their website.
Landecks.ca currently appears on the second page of a Google search for “Burlington landscaping”; we are now working with them to implement additional search engine optimization and marketing to improve their ranking.

(The owners of CaribbeanVacations.com occasionaly switch the site between the design that Sudymo Design worked on and a parking page. They do this whenever somebody expresses an interest in purchasing the domain name, so they can track different metrics for the domain. For this reason, we’ve pointed the links to a different address than CaribbeanVacations.com, to ensure that our work is always available for viewing.)
CaribbeanVacations.com is an example of turning a good design into a great website.
The owners had a complete website design from a third-party designer. The design looked very nice, for a brochure, but was unsuitable for a website. Sudymo Design took the design, picked the important elements out of it, added our own Secret Sauce*, and turned it into what is quickly becoming a top web destination for booking a vacation to the Caribbean.
*Secret Sauce contents include: semantic (X)HTML and CSS with table-less design, dynamic Javascript with script-less fallback, website load time optimization, cross-browser compatibility, search engine optimization and marketing tips, and more.
Ringtoning.com sells subscriptions to a ringtone download service, and it does this very well. Sudymo Design designed and implemented this site on the Joomla! content management system at the request of the site owner. We customized some of the scripts to work better. Outsourced (and properly attirbuted) content was included to improve search engine rankings.
Within two weeks of launch, the site was breaking even on marketing and hosting costs. Once renewal revenue kicks in, this site should continue to make more and more money, with virtually no maintenance.
Sudymo Design offers the Hamilton-Burlington Directory website as a showcase, both to promote local business in Hamilton and Burlington and to provide backward relevancy to search results.
Domain Direct
Ah, memories.
Some of Sudymo Design’s principals cut their web-design and web-hosting teeth on Domain Direct.
Domain Direct was owned by Tucows, Inc., and in its time was a major player in the retail domain business. Domain Direct’s reputation was one of the major factors in Tucows being able to launch OpenSRS so soon after ICANN opened up the domain registration system in 1999. At one time Domain Direct had more domains under management than any other web hosting company in Canada.
Domain Direct went offline in early 2009 as part of a corporate re-branding effort.
